Summary of Scope of Work

  1. Preparation and Protection:
       
    • Protect the floor in the ground floor (GF) meeting room.
    •  
    • Install polythene hoarding to the glazed partition.
  2.  
  3. Demolition and Removal:
       
    • Remove wall finishes in the GF meeting room.
    •  
    • Strip back the ceiling as required and set aside for re-installation.
    •  
    • Remove ceiling finishes on the bulkhead to expose floor joists for propping.
    •  
    • Uplift and dispose of all carpet tiles.
  4.  
  5. Structural Work:
       
    • Structural engineer to design and provide sketches for propping.
    •  
    • Supply and install props as per structural engineer’s recommendations.
    •  
    • Replace the existing timber column with a 152x152x30kg UC steel column, with 10mm plates welded to the top and bottom.
  6.  
  7. Specialist Treatment:
       
    • Treat affected areas for dry rot eradication.
  8.  
  9. Reconstruction:
       
    • Rebuild the boxing at the front elevation internally, insulate with Rockwool mineral insulation, and finish with plasterboard.
    •  
    • Reboard and skim the left-hand wall in the meeting room.
    •  
    • Reboard the bulkhead, decorate, and reinstate the suspended ceiling.
  10.  
  11. Finishing:
       
    • Redecorate the entire room.
    •  
    • Install new carpet tiles across the meeting room.
  12.  
  13. Electrical and Systems:
       
    • Electrician to isolate/recommission all electrics at the start and end of the project.
    •  
    • Coordinate fire alarm, smoke heads, and security alarm systems with the client.
