Mansfield Car Park

DESCRIPTION

• The branch was suffering with ingress into the banking hall, the original cause of ingress wasn‚Äôt known and had previously been reviewed by several others.
• Through intrusive investigation it was determined that the tarmac to the carpark had no DPM and therefore as splits appeared water could penetrate through into the slab below causing corrosion to the steel beams.
• T&D supplied and installed a new asphalt car park covering over the top of the existing to provide a watertight covering without disrupting the working hours of the branch through breaking out.
• Upon completion the internal damage was made good, inclusive of coating and repairs to the internal steel beams.
