DESCRIPTION
Supply and installation of glazing at high level.
Having noticed cracks in the glass of some internal windows, the maintenance team at the Hyatt Regency Hotel appointed T&D to safely replace it.
The first stage of the project was to ensure all works were completed safely, controlling the risks posed to keep the T&D team and all third parties safe.
Working with external consultants, our QHSE Manager developed a Safe System of Work (SSoW) involving the existing cradle on site, scaffold protection at ground level, and a temporary winch to the roof for lifting/lowering.
With everything in place, inspections on all lifting equipment were carried out by one of our approved contractors, wind speeds were checked, and the team was given the green light to proceed.
With a full team on site, works were completed safely and to our high standards within two days. This ensured minimum disruption and maximum satisfaction for the client.

- Supply and install of new glass at high level.
- All works fully compliant to the WAH Regulations and CDM.
