Leicester - Listed Building Window Restoration
Leicester Town Centre

Project Overview: We were tasked with the removal, restoration, and replacement of a window at a listed building in Leicester, ensuring as much of the original structure was preserved as possible.
Scope of Work: Our team began by working closely with the conservation officer to develop a comprehensive design proposal. This included detailed drawings that highlighted which elements of the original window would be retained, ensuring compliance with heritage preservation guidelines. We submitted these designs to the conservation officer for review and approval, obtaining the necessary Conservation Officer’s Letter (COL)before proceeding.
Once approval was granted, we carried out the restoration keeping as close to the original as possible.
This project is a prime example of our commitment to delivering high-quality, heritage-sensitive solutions that respect the history and character of listed buildings while enhancing their longevity for future generations.
